High Representative Christian Schmidt met with German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to discuss the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and broader developments across the Western Balkans.
The meeting focused on strengthening stability, advancing democratic institutions and the rule of law, and supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s progress on the path toward European integration.
High Representative emphasized the importance of constructive political dialogue and continued engagement of domestic political stakeholders in support of reforms and long-term stability.
