High Representative Christian Schmidt welcomed the newly appointed Commander of EUFOR Operation Althea, Major General Maurizio Fronda.
“EUFOR’s role in Bosnia and Herzegovina remains crucial. Close cooperation and coordinated efforts between OHR and the EUFOR are essential for the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement and for maintaining peace and stability in the country,” said the High Representative.
