Today in Fojnica, Acting High Representative Louis Crishock met with Mayor Sabahudin Klisura and Municipal Councillor, Igor Bosnjak to discuss the municipality’s economic potential, opportunities for attracting investment, and new prospects for sustainable economic growth and development. “Citizens deserve the best possible opportunities to raise their families in a thriving community with a secure and prosperous future. The goal for Fojnica, like every other municipality, should be to create the conditions that encourage people to stay in their communities and prosper rather than leave in search of better opportunities elsewhere.” said Acting High Representative Crishock.
During the visit, Acting High Representative also visited the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Spirit. The Monastery complex also houses a museum, archive and library which preserve elements of the rich cultural and historical heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Concluding his visit to Fojnica, Crishock visited the local Red Cross offices, where he met with youth volunteers. The volunteers presented their goals and the work they do to support their community.
