Meeting today in Sarajevo, the Ambassadors of the Peace Implementation Council reaffirm the right of any group anywhere in BiH to peacefully demonstrate, including the planned May 3 commemoration in Sarajevo.  

We urge Sarajevo city and cantonal officials, participants and citizens to take all necessary steps to ensure that the commemoration remains peaceful. Allowing this event to proceed and conclude in a dignified way will indeed be a strong symbol that Sarajevo is a multi ethnic city where all are welcome.
