The shooting occurred during and after the football match between Croatia and Germany in France. Emina Catic, 26 years old died, and a 76 year old, Husein Djelilovic, is still in coma.

3 July 1998, 19:30 Because of the failure of deputies to reach an agreement on the Law on Privatisation on a state level at the BiH Parliament HoR session today, continuation of the session was announced for July 14.
