Jenny Pearce, the spokesperson for OHR in Brcko, told SRT today that they had received the list naming 7 workers of Serb nationality who had been dismissed. The OHR is satisfied with the follow-up of the Supervisor’s orders. Supervisor Farrand, as Jenny Pierce said, considers that the proportion in the administration is fully respected.

The OSCE PEC, at a session held on July 8, adopted the amendments to the rules and regulations for the general elections in September. They refer to the ban on the unauthorised release of information about candidates, i.e., the unauthorised release of information about a person who is a candidate at the elections is forbidden. In the event that this rule is violated, the Election Appeals Sub-commission is to be in charge. The second amendment refers to the working hours of the poll stations. They will be open from 07:00 to 19:00 hrs on the first day and from 07:00 to 16:00 on the second day of voting.
