Orlando Fusco is working for the International Community in the Balkans since the beginning of 1997. He has been seconded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina until the end of 2000, where he filled several senior election posts. After an experience as the Head of Mission for a large-scale NGO in Serbia , he directed in 2001 the entire field operations for the OSCE Mission in Kosovo during the general elections. He has often offered his services to other International Organisations, such as the United Nations and the European Union, in the field of political affairs. Before the current post, Mr. Fusco has led the OHR Field Office in Travnik for two and half years.

Mr. Fusco holds a University degree in Political Science and a Master in International Studies and Diplomacy. He is 34, from Italy , married andspeaks fluently the local languages.
