Focus on Police Oversight Methods

The negotiations among the leaders of eleven Parliamentary parties in BiH on Police reform continued on Vlasic today.

The second day's discussions focused on how Bosnia and Herzegovina’s future police structure might function.

The means of providing real democratic accountability and oversight within the single structure of policing in Bosnia and Herzegovina were considered.

Participants reviewed proposals on how police policy will be formulated and how the operational control of policing can be co-ordinated.

The delegations assessed various proposals on these topics.
