The negotiations among the leaders of eleven Parliamentary parties in BiH on Police reform began on Vlasic this morning.

Michael Humphreys, Head of the European Commission delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, presented the three EU principles for Police reform to the participants.

Asked by the High Representative to declare their position on these three principles, the leaders of the eleven parties present confirmed that they accepted the principles as a framework in which to work, while acknowledging that different interpretations do exist.

During the day the discussions focused on the legal framework and single budget for policing in BiH.
