High Representative Valentin Inzko today condemned the brutal murder of Father Mile Ivancic in Zavalja near Bihac. Expressing his condolences to Father Ivancic's relatives and friends, to the Parish, to the Church, and to Cardinal Puljic, the High Representative called for a thorough investigation which will restore a sense of security within the community. “Decent people of all walks of life, believers and non-believers, have been horrified by this attack; this cannot be allowed to undermine the understanding that has developed between communities over the last two decades,” said the High Representative today.
