Today the High Representative and EU Special Representative, Valentin
Inzko, met with Baroness Ann Taylor, UK Minister for International Defence and
Security. The High Representative and EU Special Representative used this
opportunity to thank Baroness Taylor for the efforts of the UK Government in
Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the field of defence reform.
In briefing the minister, the High Representative concluded that: "for the
past three years the political atmosphere has been deteriorating and a number of
challenges remain before the BiH authorities, most importantly meeting the
preconditions for visa liberalization and completion of the tasks for OHR
transition to EUSR.”
