Further to the suspension of international supervision in Brcko, the OHR has launched a website at www.brckosupervizija.ba with the aim of making documents concerning Brcko District Supervision more easily accessible.
The website includes a compilation of legal documents, including Supervisor’s orders, letters with legal effects, essential texts and a timeline covering important events in the history of Brcko District.
The Brcko Supervisor suspended his functions on 31 August 2012, in agreement with the Peace Implementation Council Steering Board. On the same day, the Final Award Office in Brcko was closed.
The right to interpret and amend orders from previous Supervisors, which were put in place so that the District can develop, has been transferred to the District itself.
