High Representative Christian Schmidt expressly welcomes the decision to reinforce the Intermediate Reserve Force to the EUFOR Althea Mission in the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina, thereby increasing the capability and visibility of EUFOR in a significant scope.
“This decision underlines the commitment of the International Community to the integrity and stability of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its institutions on the basis of the General Framework Agreement for Peace. This country belongs in Europe. EUFOR Althea and the High Representative will resolutely accompany it on its way towards European integration,” said High Representative Christian Schmidt.
