High Representative Christian Schmidt underlines the following:
The RS Law on Immovable Property Used for Functioning of Public Authority is unconstitutional, against Constitutional Court decisions, and is therefore anti-Dayton. It also goes against the Temporary Prohibition of Disposal of State Property.
Any transaction under this Law is therefore null and void.
“This is about the unconstitutional actions of the RS authorities. They have to repeal this Law immediately. If it is not withdrawn, they will have to bear the responsility of all consequences. The citizens of RS deserve good governance and responsible politicians who act in accordance with the rule of law,” said the High Representative.
