Televizijsko obracanje Visokog predstavnika Paddya Ashdowna povodom obilježavanja prve godine svog mandata
Prije godinu dana imao sam cast i privilegiju preuzeti du`nost Visokog predstavnika u Bosni i Hercegovini.
Tijekom tih godinu dana postigli smo mnogo; ali pred nama je još mnogo toga što treba uraditi.
Kada sam poceo raditi ovaj posao, rekao sam da ce moji prioriteti biti pravda i posao.

Remarks by Deputy HR and Head of OHR Economic Department, Patrice Dreiski at the Inauguration of a New BiH Information Pillar
We are here today to inaugurate a BiH project that is a positive model of how companies in this country can expand successfully – and create new jobs and raise living standards.
This information pillar is a small steel computer platform with dedicated software – but it is much much more than the sum of its parts.

Speech by Deputy HR and Head of OHR Economic Department, Patrice Dreiski at the Conference on “Economy between Theory and Practice” Organised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation
First of all, allow me to commend Prime Minister Mikerevic on his lucid and authoritative presentation this morning. The Prime Minister has spoken about measures that are necessary in order to stimulate investment. It will fall to the Prime Minister and his government to implement these measures - his working day is dominated by the challenge of pu [...]

Dolazim u pravom trenutku. Okončali smo prvu fazu našeg putovanja i uskoro ćemo [...]

Remarks By The High Representative for BiH, Paddy Ashdown At The Trans-Adriatic Interreg IIIA Conference
Thank you for inviting me to the official launch of the “Trans-Adriatic Conference – Interreg IIIA”. Thank you, especially, to Italy and to Foreign Minister Frattini for the strong support you have given to this initiative: and thank you, and congratulations, to BiH, and to Minister Ivanic, for hosting the first conference.

Speech by the High Representative, Paddy Ashdown highlighting the central role of the EUPM
I am delighted to be here at this ceremony, delighted to be able to mark in this way the first few month’s of EUPM’s mission.
It scarcely seems four months since EUPM took over where the UN IPTF left off.
You have already become such a familiar part of the BiH scene that one sometimes forgets that the mission is still relatively new. [...]

Speech by Deputy HR and Head of OHR Economic Department, Patrice Dreiski at the International Business Forum in Tuzla
My message to the businesspeople in the audience is – more or less – that I have no message.
Running companies is something you know how to do – and successful companies are the dynamo of successful economies. Public officials do not make economies prosper; businesspeople do. You do not need me or any other public official – BiH or internati [...]

Govor Visokog predstavnika prigodom prvih ukopa žrtava masakra u Srebrenici 1995. godine na mezarju u Potočarima
Ovdje sam danas kao predstavnik međunarodne zajednice;
Kao predstavnik Europske unije;
Kao čovjek;
Kao prijatelj;
Ovaj smo dan dugo čekali.
Ali sada možemo dostojanstveno, svečano i s ljubavlju, konačno ispratiti prve žrtve Srebrenice u njihov vječni rahmet.
Želim zahvaliti svima onima čija je velik [...]

Remarks by PDHR Donald Hays at the Bulldozer Committee Meeting with BiH Parliamentarians
I am delighted that this meeting has taken place and that I have been invited to make a few remarks.
We are at the first hurdle. The reforms have been clearly laid out before you. After 110 days of work, entrepreneurs of Bosnia and Herzegovina have pinpointed an array of issues that need to change to improve the business environment.

Speech By The HR/EU Special Representative Paddy Ashdown To The American Chamber Of Commerce
I am delighted to speak to you today, because there is no subject that pre-occupies me more than the state of this country’s economy.
If you ask me the issue on which I will be campaigning most vigorously in the months ahead, I would simply echo Bill Clinton’s campaign slogan and tell to you bluntly: ‘It’s the economy, stupid’.
Bosnia [...]
