High Representative Valentin Inzko met today in Sarajevo with Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and EU Integration Igor Luksic.
“EU and NATO requirements provide the framework for progress in Bosnia and Herzegovina and have no alternative. A breakthrough is vital to get the country back on track. This is a task for domestic political leaders and the International Community will not do the job for them”, the High Representative said.
Inzko praised Montenegro’s dedication to its objective of EU and NATO accession. “Through its commitment to reforms, Montenegro is setting an example to others in the region”, Inzko said.
