Statement
of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

On 22 July 1997, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina held its 21st session at the premises of the Electrotechnical Faculty in Lukavica. In the absence of President of the BiH Presidency Alija Izetbegovic, the session was attended by Co-Chairman of the Council of Ministers Dr. Haris Silajdzic.

The Presidency passed the decision to have 200,000 Deutche Mark provided from the Budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the item of “other beneficiaries” for funding of each of the BiH institutions: the Human Rights Commission, Commission for Real Property Claims and Demining Commission.

The Presidency also took a position on the issue of support of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Chairman of the 52nd session of the UN General Assembly.

The BiH Presidency resumed the discussion on the organization and structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of the diplomatic-consular network of BiH, and also raised several other issues from its domain.
